Care Show - SBID panel discussion The Colour of Healthcare design

This year’s Care Show are packed with great talks, group discussions and presentations at both the Keynote Theatre and the Dementia Care Seminar Theatre with the one aim: to improve healthcare design in UK.

This year five members of the SBID (Society of British and International Design) Healthcare Design Advisory Council will come together to discuss ‘The Colour of Healthcare Design’.

Some of the points the panel will be discussing are: what are the considerations when using way finding; how behaviour is affected by colour; the importance of using the correct lighting so that colours remain true; the importance of incorporating colour and contrast and how colour can be used as an aid for those with sight loss. The discussion will be followed by a Q&A session.
