Following the successful meeting BLUE – the World’s Favourite Colour, the Colour Group GB is hosting a soiree with a special screening of the new feature length film by Mary Lance. Blue Alchemy: Stories of Indigo is a feature-length documentary about indigo, a blue dye that has captured the human imagination for millennia.

It is also about remarkable people around the globe who are reviving indigo in projects that are intended to improve life in their communities, preserve cultural integrity, improve the environment, and bring beauty to the world. After the screening there will be refreshments and a chance to ask questions and discuss the film and the work it shows.

Jenny Balfour-Paul, author of the just published book Indigo: Egyptian Mummies to Blue Jeans was a consultant on the film and will be present and will sign copies of the book.

Following are two trailers to the film to whet your appetite! If you are not able to see the videos, just press F5 to refresh the page.
