farrow ball launches new colours for 2011

Farrow & Ball - 2011 new colour range. This opens a new browser window.Last week I had the pleasure of meeting Kazuhito Cooper-Ueki, Manager of Farrow & Ball’s Battersea (London) showroom, where he showed me Farrow & Ball’s ‘New Colours’ for 2011.

Just for you, a *FREE* Sample Paint Pot.  Yes, they’ve included a special offer of a free sample paint pot, but you need to be quick, offer ends 31st March 2011.  How to get yours?  You’ll find all the details at the end of this article.

Known for their traditional colours, Farrow & Ball have recently introduced nine new colours to their palate, which can either be used as accents or providing inspiration for new combinations of colour.

Standing out from the Crowd

Standing out. New colour Charlotte‟s Locks no. 268.

The stand out colour for its energy and zing is Charlotte’s Locks no. 268 and it just happens to be Kazuhito’s favourite! “It has a modern retro feel to it, especially when it’s teamed with Tanner’s Brown”.

Kazuhito suggests using Charlotte’s Locks as an accent colour, on furniture or splash backs.

In colour psychology terms orange represents warmth, socialising and abundance, making it an ideal accent colour for the kitchen being the  heart of the home which is all about sharing of food, warmth and comfort.

Proving Popular
Mizzle no.266 is proving popular, a grey with a green undertone, which just happens to be my favourite too.  It’s followed closely by Blue Gray no.91 and French Gray no.18.

Other colours from the new range proving to be very popular are Manor House Gray no.265 and Plummett no.272, both bluey grays, and Brassica no.271, a soft purple.

Great post Karen, am loving how on trend F&B are with acid and greys coming through, even though they’re seen as a fairly traditional company.

Hi Fiona, their new colours are great. I really like Mizzle (green/gray) and Charlotte’s Locks (orange) which is full of energy! Perhaps traditional is now contemporary….
