Colour For Business And The Professions: Applying The Power Of Colour event
Today is the last day of my 30 blogs in 30 days and for me there is no better way to end than on what was the colour event of the year.
Today at City University London, with a sell out audience, 10 colour experts spoke at the all-day colour symposium ‘Colour For Business And The Professions: Applying The Power Of Colour’.

are these the right colours for my business brand?
One of the most common questions I’ve been asked during this month of 30 blogs in 30 days is can you tell me if my business brand colours are right?
Naturally as business owners we all want to be attracting our ideal clients not repelling them so it is no surprise this has become a somewhat frequently asked question.
Without doing a full brand analysis which to answer a question like this would require, instead I’m going to set out a several tips you can follow to help you become more aware, and more concious of your colour choices.

colour book review… Colour design: Theories and applications
This book review is very close to my heart. Not only is the editor Janet Best a good friend of mine, there are several fellow Colour Group (GB) committee members were asked to write a chapter, including myself. This book is the first of its kind bringing together 26 colour specialists creating the definitive book of colour.

How to choose the right colours to wear when speaking from stage
One of my Linked in connections, Saskia Jennings asked me the following colour question
” Hi Karen, I love colors! I’m an orange fan. I’m energetic, dynamic and creative…I have 4 speaking events for 50 business people. What colors would you recommend me to wear and why? Looking forward to your suggestions. ”
I was also asked a similar question from @John__Cassidy, known as the headshot guy and a question on facebook about the colours to wear workshops and presentations so it is obviously something people want to know about.

Last night I experienced Sleep Art. Taking place in Berlin, Paris and London ‘sleep artists’ were tucked up in bed asleep whilst robots worked throughout the night painting their every move.
How do I know this… because I was the first one in London to take part in Ibis Hotel Sleep Art experience.
